Annual maintenance plan

Court components are designed for periodic maintenance. It keeps the game good, prevents injuries and keeps the court safe. An annual plan extends the life of your court and protects your investment.

Artificial turf

Remove leaves, seeds, weeds and debris that encourage fungus. Use a soft rubber or plastic brush or rake, or a blower that does not move the sand.
Use a wide brush of medium hardness to even out the sand. Brush lengthwise and crosswise, avoiding areas where the fibre is fully covered or has no sand.
Fungus and moss can appear on shaded edges. Apply a non-oil-based fungicide as prevention.
Check the joints thoroughly and repair any separation right away to avoid larger tears.
A specialist company removes, cleans and reinstalls the infill sand. It improves play and drainage.

Glass

Check regularly for cracks, especially around the anchors. If a pane is cracked, do not play until it is replaced.
Clean the glass so dust and organic matter do not stick and increase condensation.
Vibration loosens bolts and breaks nylon washers, leaving metal against glass. Inspect and replace worn fittings.
Tempered glass expands with heat. Keep the gap between panes above 3 mm and below 6 mm so the bounce is not affected.

Metal structure and net

Check for knocks, scratches and chipped paint. Sand and repaint spots every year to prevent rust.
Make sure anchor plates are tight and panels stay vertical.
Check the tensioning and fixing of the net: 88 cm high at the centre and no more than 92 cm at the ends.

Lighting

Check the anchoring of poles and brackets so lamps do not sway or lose their aim, and avoid shadow areas.
LED floodlights last about 50,000 hours with no loss of light and do not need lamp replacement like halogen lamps.
